JL Audio Twk88 as the Heart of Your Audio System
The days of large multi-band parametric EQs, separate crossovers, and various signal processors are gone. Now one simple little black box with very sophisticated digital circuitry can interface with a computer. Using a PC, we can then work magic with any audio signal, including signals coming from a factory radio. There are inputs for either digital or analog signals. An analog signal is converted to digital, and then the signal can be dialed-in with a using a wide variety of controls using the TwK-TuN computer software. This used to take several outboard analog processors to accomplish.
It’s All in the App
Just load JL Audio’s TwK-TuN app onto your computer. There are three levels of processing available. With the Basic level, you get all of the crossovers and equalization to set up a great sounding system in about 10 to 15 minutes. With the Advanced setting, we can set a more sophisticated system up with additional crossover controls, parametric equalization, time delay, and alignment adjustments in a few hours. With the expert setting we can set up a competition-level or audiophile-quality system for the ultimate in car audio.
Very Flexible System Connections and Controls
The TwK88 will take up to eight analog inputs and two digital inputs. On the output side, it features eight pre-outs and a digital output. This will allow you to dial-in a very sophisticated multi-amp system with full control on every output for crossover, equalization and time delay. It even comes with a wired remote. The remote features bass adjustment, and user presets easy to adjust on-the-fly when you are driving and not connected to the computer for tuning.
