Motorcycle audio installation for upgrades is a very popular category here at Prestige Car Audio & Marine in New Orleans. We love motorcycles. We love the style, we love the freedom and we love the personal expression. But you know what makes a great motorcycle even better? A great-sounding motorcycle stereo system. We love those, too!
Adding Audio Systems To Motorcycles On The Rise; Disastrous “Buddy” Installations Abound…
In more recent years, we have seen more and more companies, and more and more people, start installing stereo systems on motorcycles. At the same time, we have also seen a significant rise in the number of clients coming in our door dissatisfied with the “upgraded” stereo systems on their bike. The conversation typically starts along these lines: “I was speaking to a buddy of mine, and he said he knew a guy that could install a new stereo for me. All I needed to do was go to this website, pick out what I wanted and have it shipped to me. Then this guy would take it from there.” The conversation goes downhill from there. We have heard everything from poor installation quality that looks like a hack job to lousy performance to the system breaking down. The theme that keeps coming up is “I didn’t think it was difficult, so anyone should be able to do it.”
The Reality Of Motorcycle Audio Installation
Here is the reality. Your motorcycle audio system is better left to a professional. Prestige Car Audio & Marine doesn’t do custom paint jobs. We don’t sell chrome parts, and we surely don’t build engines. We sell and install complete, engineered audio systems for motorcycles. And we do it well.
Getting It Done Right By The Professionals
Our team understands acoustics and what it takes to give you an audio system that sounds good not only while your bike is sitting still but also at speed. We know that you are going to lose a lot of bass and treble from the road noise, so our builds take that into account.
The Best Product Selections For Bikes And Top Installation Quality From Years Of Experience
Our product selection has been honed from years and years of doing marine audio systems. If you think your bike takes a beating, imagine having saltwater sprayed on it. It brings new meaning to the term “torture tested.” Our installation standards – like soldering and heat-shrinking all connections, using stainless steel hardware, and never using wood anywhere on your bike – all came from our experience in the marine world.
I Wanna Crank It Up!
Let’s face it: When riding up the road, your stereo needs to crank if you are going to enjoy it, so you need products that can deliver. Yet, you also need them to work with your motorcycle’s limited charging system and small space requirements. We get it, and we have you covered.
