Some speaker systems have passive crossover networks designed for a specific installation style. Interface modules have different wire colors and programming procedures. When our technicians know how to use the products they are installing, they can do a better job. When the installer doesn’t have to read an owner’s manual, it can save you significant time and money.
Technical Support
Perhaps you bring us a remote starter that you purchased online or at an auto parts store. Our technicians will have to look it up confirm the function and color for each wire we need to install it into in your vehicle. That will add about 15 minutes. The tech will have to look up and learn the programming procedure for the unit. The programming process, compared to some of our smartphone-based programmers, could add another 30 minutes to the installation. In the worst-case scenario, some remote starter and security system brands only offer technical support to their dealers. If we have a question or problem, getting help may vary from difficult to nearly impossible. You will quickly spend the money you may have saved on the system on having it installed.
Warranty
While we work hard to ensure that the brands we have chosen to deal with are of the highest quality and performance, sometimes things go wrong. In those cases, when we supply the product, the onus is on us to deliver a timely solution to complete the installation. We can swap the unit out for another from our inventory. If you bring us a product and it’s broken, then you will incur additional cost since we often can’t finish the project in the scheduled time.
