Level One: Powered Subwoofers
Powered subwoofers have been on the market for well over a decade, but, to be brutally honest, up until recently, they sounded horrible. The only thing going for them was low cost. Well, that has changed with companies like JL Audio entering the category. You can now get extremely compact, great-sounding powered subwoofers that will bring new life to your music. The concept with these systems is pretty simple. Take a good subwoofer, put it in a good enclosure and integrate an amplifier inside the enclosure itself so it can install faster. If you would like to adjust the overall level of bass added to the music, we can install a bass level control knob in a convenient spot in your dash or console. For many people, the added bass will be all they need.
Level Two: Pre-Fab Enclosure/Amplifier
The step up from powered subwoofers is an external amplifier along with a good-quality subwoofer and a pre-fabricated enclosure. Going this route opens up many more opportunities for the amount of bass and the quality of the subwoofer itself. This would be considered our level two upgrade.
Level Three: Custom Enclosure/Amplifier
Our level three, or ultimate, upgrade stays with an external amplifier, but now we go with a custom enclosure that is custom-fitted for your vehicle. Whether we use a JL Audio Stealthbox, which is a great-sounding, form-fitted subwoofer, or we custom-fabricate a subwoofer enclosure in-house, this package is the best we offer. If you are the type of person who wants everything to look factory, this package is for you. Or maybe you are the type of person who has a particular look in mind – this is also for you.
