Starter Kill
Starter kill circuits are a simple, yet effective way to keep someone from driving your car away. When your security system is armed, it kills power to the starter. Even if someone has the key to your vehicle, they can’t start it if the system is armed.
Impact Sensors
Impact sensors are a great deterrent to would-be thieves. If your vehicle sees a sharp impact, and not a slow motion like wind, it will set off the alarm. We even have sensors with a dual stage. The first stage chirps the siren as a warn-away, and the second stage sets off the alarm. Thieves will often test the vehicle to see if it has an impact sensor, and simply walk away if it does.
Digital Tilt & Motion Sensors
Digital tilt & motions sensors, known as FTDAS, are a great addition to any of our security systems. When this system is armed, the sensor goes live and looks for a slow, constant change in the vehicle position. It is looking for something like a floor jack that is lifting the vehicle or a roll-back that is starting to move it. As little as 3 inches of movement or 3 degrees of change in angle will set off the alarm, yet wind and rain won’t make it register a false alarm. If you own a high-profile vehicle or have a nice set of wheels, this is a must have sensor.
Battery Backup
Battery backup systems will continue to power your security system in the event a thief disconnects the battery, so it will continue to go off and alert you to a problem.
Window Control Modules
Window control modules are a great convenience item. In many vehicles, we can set up your security system to automatically roll up all of your windows when the system is armed. We can also set up the system to close the sunroof. When you disarm the system, the windows and sunroof can be opened, letting cool air in and, of course, looking great.
Vehicle Control
Your security system also can be set up to control many features of your vehicle. Would you like your remote to turn on your LED accent lighting? No problem. You can have the system disable the electric trunk opener if you have valuables that you don’t want people to take. It can disable your upgraded stereo system when you are having the vehicle serviced so you know it can’t be damaged. Pretty much, if you can think of it, we can probably do it.
